Drill shelf

Short reads on REMATCH, grouped the way a match is actually played: ranked 5v5, quick 3v3, then the keeper. Times are reading times, not prices. Nothing on this page is for sale. If a rule came from a Sloclap post, we name the patch, and we say when a later season replaced it.

Ranked 3v3 Keeper Ask the room

Ranked shelf

Bronze through Elite, three divisions each. Hold a back line before you learn a flick. Promotion into the next rank is a short series, so one hero-ball loss can undo a clean week.

Wall outlet · 7 min

The pitch is boxed in. A pass into the wall beats a marker who is facing the wrong way. Use it when the safe square ball is covered, not as a panic clear into your own box.

Amateur Contract gate for REMATCH ranked

Amateur Contract · 11 min

From 23 October 2026, ranked asks for the Amateur Contract. Sloclap said anyone already at Player Level 5 or higher starts Season 6 with that contract unlocked.

Quick 3v3

Three players leave less grass to hide on. Ranked 3v3 joined the ladder in Season 1, beside crossplay. A missed tackle is a goal more often than it is in 5v5, so the second defender must hesitate.

Rainbow flick timing against slide tackles

Rainbow timing · 8 min

A rainbow over a sliding defender still works when the slide is early. Do not flick into a standing player who has not committed. The move is a punish, not a default dribble.

4v4 quick play shape between 3v3 and 5v5

4v4 middle · 6 min

4v4 was on the launch menu with 3v3 and 5v5. It is the shape for a short session: enough width for a wall pass, not so much grass that five chasers can all abandon the goal.

Goalkeeper dive and defense notes for REMATCH

Keeper shelf

A dive is a full commit. Near-post habit leaves the far corner. Set your feet before the striker plants. Season 6 also tones down Defense Mode and tackle assist, so a late slide is less forgiving.

Far corner finishing without shot assist

Far-corner aim · 13 min

There is no shot assist. A blast at the keeper’s chest is a pass back. Pick the upper corner the dive has not covered, and do not add power you cannot aim.

Volley height change in the Season 6 patch

Lower volleys · 6 min

Season 6 drops volley height on purpose, while Netcode 2.0 is still being tested. If an old clip shows a floating finish, trust the current patch, not the clip.
